Across the road from Pura Miru is a park with an extensive man-made lake, as its centerpiece. The Park, which was built in 1744, was once part of the royal court of the Balinese Kingdom Lombok.

In the middle of the pool is the Bale Kembang (floating Pavilion) formerly used by the Hindu loard as both a judical court and meeting place, surrounded by a number of Balinese an Sasak statues, making Up a unique of two cultures and traditions.

Mayura Sports Complex
Just behind the Mayura temple complex is Mayura Sports Complex, formrly an important venue. There is a 50m sswimming pool , one of two in the province ( the other being in selong ), tennis and badminton facilities there.

In central Cakra, just north of the business center,is pura meru, Lombok's largest Hindu temple. It was built in 1720 under the instuction of Anak Anak Agung Gede Karang Asem as apleace of woship for Lombok's Hindu flowers. It is an impressive example of the Balinese Temple.

The temple it self has a serise of there yard.lying from east to West. The yard in the west is home to kentongan or kukul house , in which a drum or bell made of bamboo, ready to bestruck in an emergency,or during a holy ceremony. The middle yard contains two large halls which have elevated floors, upon which the offerings (sesajen) that are used during ceremonies are placed.
